"Moneygrabbing clinic, bad practice. I went in for first-time Botox in my forehead, mainly between my eyebrows. I feel that the doctor took advantage of the fact that I was new to Botox, and she intentionally over-injected me and went against my consent to upsell me on additional units I did not need. I told the doctor specifically that (A) I only wanted the center of my forehead done, nowhere else, and (B) I did not want to overdo it and have a frozen face. She completely ignored me. After reading several clinics' websites to estimate how many units I might need, 15 seemed like the general consensus, given that I'm only 25yo and wanted a small area treated. The doctor disagreed and said I definitely needed 30 units. Unfortunately, I trusted her professional opinion. Even worse, after injecting the area I wanted to treat, she put the needle under the end of my eyebrow, saying it would give me "a nice little brow lift." I absolutely did NOT consent to that, as I specifically told her I wanted to treat only the center of my forehead. This doctor's practice really is only about pushing more units on people, because I was overinjected, and she still had enough left to inject another area. I was told it would take 1-2 weeks to show results, but three days after the visit, my entire forehead was frozen. I can't make any expressions at all with my forehead, and it looks extremely unnatural. I will never be returning to this clinic, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone."

Genuinely care about your well-being and are so responsive to my health concerns. Dr. Jelsema is a compassionate physician not interested in putting a person on a bunch of pills when there are healthy alternatives available. I feel blessed to have found such a great group of health care professionals!"

"I'm being asked to rate a doctor I don't recognize. I recognize the practice but not the doctor's name. So I have to assume it is the doctor who came into the exam room, didn't introduce herself and the only two things she said to me were 1. they changed the color in the room and 2. did I need an ice pack to go home."
