"This place is mediocre in my opinion. It's always really difficult to get an appointment; there is never any consistence in how my hair is cut, and it is overpriced for what you get. They claim it takes 30 minutes for a "haircut", but I've had mine done in like 7 or 8 minutes before, and that isn't a compliment. It's rushed and I don't feel like my hairdresser really cares how it turns out. I picked this place originally because it was seemingly more upscale than a lot of other places around town. This is not the case though. You pay extra for nothing."

"I may be biased. BUT, as an employee of Bullfeathers, there’s a reason Bullfeathers is one of the best and busiest shops in Madison. I know it can be frustrating to try and walk in to get a haircut and hear “we’re booked up, we’re so sorry.” But I promise you it’s worth making an appointment. We put everything into our craft. Plus, we have some of the coolest bosses & girls in town!"
