"My previous review here seems to have been deleted. After a contractor abandoned the job at my house along with his Wallzone materials, I was told by David the sales rep that Wallzone would find someone to use the materials so long as I allowed Wallzone to leave them in my garage. I was told that the contractor’s materials were “on his account” but he hadn’t paid for them, but Wallzone would find someone else to use them. I said “I’m not buying siding directly from anyone, but if you find someone to use it that’s fine.” The agreement was acknowledged and understood by both of us. Wallzone never found anyone to use the materials. After some phone calls, I was told by Wallzone in Madison that the contractor had since paid for his materials, and they were no longer involved in the situation. Shortly after this conversation, David the sales rep asked for a check for the materials. He did not know that I had already spoken to Wallzone. He made up a story and said his manager was giving him a hard time because of how long they had been in my garage, and he wanted a check ASAP. I told him I was not using the materials and had a new contractor, and that they could come pick them up. He didn’t argue at all. They never picked them them up, because they didn’t own them. I asked David why he tried to get a check from me for materials that Wallzone didn’t own. He ceased all contact with me. I called Wallzone in Pelham, and a guy named Mike laughed and explained to me that Wallzone no longer owned the materials, had nothing to do with the situation, and that they would have just credited the previous contractor’s account had I written a check to them. Wallzone’s rep, David, tried to steal money from me in order to help out his contractor friend. Mike, presumably his manager, acknowledged that David tried to get a check for materials that had already been paid for by David’s customer/contractor friend. Somehow Wallzone is in business while employing sales reps who try to deceive and steal in order to helps their friends out."
