"The previous review was spot-on. Once they perform services, repairs due to faulty product/installation is an absolute hassle. They initially installed defective carpet (manufacturer issue), and it was over six months of me calling to have it replaced. A short while later, I noticed that parts of the carpet hadn’t made it under the baseboards. I made that call in March, and at first I was patient because I didn’t want anyone in the house due to COVID, but I have yet to receive any follow-up. Sad thing is, is that Lowe’s was initially going to do the installation, but due to constant issues, I decided to go local. Thanks, Marty."

"I have called several times and spoke to Keith. He does not want to come out to my house to see the installation that was done poorly. He hung up the telephone on me. Poor Customer Service. In addition, Please check your estimate on Laminate Flooring... Make sure that they do the job correctly.. They put my flooring down and did not use moisture barrier underneath the flooring. My floor has buckled and they do not want to do anything about it. They must do a moisture test on your flooring to make sure that you do not have a problem with moisture. He will not correct it blaming it on you. I have had the City Building Inspector of Mobile state that you must do a test before installation. This company never did."

"They were very responsive and professional when we were selecting our new wood floors. However, once we expressed dissatisfaction with the installation, the lines of communication were cut off. They totally ignored us. The installer did a horrible job. We installed hardwood in our living room, dining room, and hallway. They left 27 large gaps between the wood planks throughout the space and the transition strips were uneven and created trip hazards. The installer also took three boxes of very expensive wood floors with him and Main Street did nothing to assist us in getting our wood back. We called, both the store number and the owner’s cell, emailed, and stopped by the store and no one responded. Whenever we stopped by the store, we were always told that the person we needed to speak to was not in. Their customer service is horrible and their installation quality is horrible. Please save yourself the time, headache, and money by purchasing and having your floors installed somewhere other than Main Street Flooring & Design."
