Mc Calla Nails

"Horrible experience and if I could leave no stars I would. The lady (im assuming the owner) argued with me over prices. I told her I wanted the $45 deluxe pedicure(it was on a paper on the pedicure chair) AND on the pricing board hanging up. She proceeded to argue with me and tell me the prices were WRONG that it would be $35 PLUS $17 for the deluxe... I opted for just the regular pedicure. HUGE mistake. I should have gotten up and left right then but I gave the benefit of the doubt. 2 of my toes are infected from her "digging my ingrown nails out". Now I have to go to a podiatrist and have my toes worked on and a round of antibiotics for the infection. Definitely won't be going back again."

"I got my nails done here on Monday Sept 4 2023 and the paint is chipping today which is Tuesday September 5 2023. I paid the technician $90 for fill in and pedicure. My toenails were not bad when I went in I wanted a pedicure. The technician cut my toenails in a circle and cut one along the side of my nail bed. I’m so disappointed at the service and I hope they will at least remove the polish for me. This is so sad!"

"The employees are insanely rough. The guy who did my nails cut me over 3 times, didn’t get my design right and got the nails crooked. My mom and my sister also got their nails done and the same guy did my moms nails and cut her, did the wrong design and got them crooked. My sister got hers done by the woman there and got the color and design completely wrong. Last time coming here for sure."

"After another nail place in Mccalla treated me so very nasty, I came to them desperate for help. Andy was so sweet and respectful. He fixed the mess that Model Nails made and truly was the most gentle nail technician Ive ever had work on my nails. His prices were very fair. I watched how They treated their customers in the nail salon like Queens. It's hard to find a nail salon that is fair with their pricing and kind to the customers. When it came time to pay I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely looking forward to going back again!!"

"I drove from Hoover just to go to this nail shop on Saturday, 2/7/21. Love the customer service and people that work there. However, my tab was $82 plus I left a $5 tip. I had a manicure and pedicure with gel polish and got my eyebrows waxed. Gel polish started coming off the very next day. Day 2 my polish on some nails completely peeled off. I was for certain that gel polish should last at least 2 weeks. The nail tech that I had did apply many coats to get the desired look. I'm very disappointed in the quality. I would love for them to make this right being that I do visit this location from time to time."
