"Join us! Skip the summer's endless boiling paved tarmacs of the State Park... Wait until the deep winter freeze wherein the endless wide lakes, which extend beyond your view, send phantom visions of towns unseen (if you're lucky and the light is right)! Still, the waves solidify til you can walk upon them and witness geysers shot by tide unfettered to splash and freeze in shapes obscene! Tis dangerous to walk alone, wherein steady folk did tread. Heed the warnings of lifeguard's posts or surely you'll be dead!"

"Really nice beach if you can get lucky enough to get parking in a free lot. The other option is to pay to get into the state park. Noticed they had empty spaces most of the day."

"Very beautiful beach! The water is amazing compared to other beaches in Michigan. So far, the best beach we ever visited in Michigan. A downside is the limited parking. We had to wait and drive in circles to find a spot. I hope they can do something about it. The other downside is that there are only two bathrooms where you have to wait in a long line to go to. Otherwise, it is a nice place to enjoy the sun in Michigan."

"Absolutely gorgeous beach! The water is crystal clear. The sand is very clean. The pier and lighthouse are so beautiful. We went at sunset and the beach was still filled with people. This place did not disappoint. There is also a fountain light show around 10:10pm about a half a mile down from the beach on the water. My kids LOVED it."
