Baymont by Wyndham Grand Haven

"Room door was jammed and hard to shut. Rooms need remodeling. There was a youth soccer tournament in the area and numerous teams were staying at this hotel. Kids running the halls screaming until around 1am. Front desk notified but nothing was done to quiet the kids. I am not sure if I will ever return to this area but if I do I won’t be staying here."

"We celebrated my 41st birthday at the Baymont by Wyndham Grand Haven and couldn't have been happier with our decision!! The hotel was clean and the staff was on point! The hallways were really cool to walk down with high ceilings that remind you of the Shining or an old movie classic!! The rooms were a perfect fit and the bathtub is always used by our crew to relax a bit!! Harry Potter on the tv all night and a.m and we went for a swim in the warm pool and enjoyed the hot tub as well as a family!! What a great memory and don't forget to look up when you're swimming for a nice surprise!! The VALUE is worth every penny!!"

"Checked in with my husband and two children and decided within 20 minutes that this wasn’t the hotel for us. The room was dirty, the furniture old and in disrepair and the whole establishment had an air of being rather unkempt. I personally didn’t feel comfortable there. We left after an hour and were told by the front desk attendant (who was very kind) to call the next day for a refund. When I did this, the manager, Eric, refused to refund stating that I needed to list out all of issues we had the prior evening with the front desk attendant on duty in order to get a refund. We of course weren’t told this the previous night, and truthfully I didn’t want to badger an employee with no power to provide a refund with a list of complaints, especially while trying to manage two tired children. Overall, a very disappointing experience."

"The staff has been beyond helpful. The GM, Eric, scanned in documents for me via email. If I wasn't local, I'd stay here again. The manager and staff have been beyond understanding. It has been the bright side of what my significant other and I have been going through. They will treat you well if you communicate with them."

"Stayed here on a work trip for a couple nights. All the staff was friendly and pleasant. The room looked nice but there was a spider in the room that I had to kill. And there were other things that needed fixing. The shower faucet dripped all the time and there was no way to turn it off, no vent in the shower, the internet was very slow, the lamps were rusted, the TV did not swivel and the refrigerator didn’t seem to be working very well though it was set on high. There were no cups in my room. I know I could’ve asked the front desk but I was comfortable and not dressed to leave the room when I realized I needed a cup. Breakfast was basic. No turnover service unless you asked. Good location and has the potential to be a very nice place to stay."
