"I used to be proud shopping at Meijer with a local roots. Although they are quick to update their facilities, they are falling short on the trash floating around their parking lots. I understand this isn't their true business but the first impression that is made in the parking lots is getting worse. On the east side of the property it is starting to resemble a trash dump."
"Constantly out of stock on common items like toilet paper, frozen meals, ground beef, and cat litter. Never enough cashiers and ridiculously long lines at self checkout. Prices may be lower than the smaller stores, but lack of inventory and absent service do not make it worth it anymore."
"The best place for groceries in my area. They're not perfect at keeping inventory on the shelves. But they make up for it with exceptional customer service. The produce is the best of any store in the area. The scan-n-go self scan and checkout system is good, and improving. Also, their MPerks program is a strong incentive to shop there. Lots of savings if you pay attention."

"Every time I use Meijer pick up they give me chicken that’s bad. The packaging is bloated. This last time I tried to return it they said it didn’t loook like that before. But when I pulled up, like just pulled up didn’t even have time to text them they came right out the doors with my order. So what? It didn’t look like that before you picked it up and had it sit out for hours or you picked it up off the shelf like that? W.e. Screw musher pick up. They make mistake after mistake and it’s ‘your fault for using it.’ Direct quote from a manger I talked to. Meijer sucks."
