"The lady at the counter was extremely rude when I asked for help finding a book, and tried to imply that I was lieing when I said that I liked Joe Muggs coffee better than Starbucks and that I wished they hadn't closed; and then they didn't even have a single copy of the book I was looking for in stock. This is why Amazon is winning"
"Books and magazines are getting more and more expensive but its always relaxing to visit a store where you can browse real books instead of the digital genre. Have made a few magazine purchases over time but BAM is not what it once was where you had a great mix of books, magazines and "coffee shop" where you could sit at a table, work on your laptop and have a snack or a cup of coffee. The "coffee shop" is gone and now customers have mostly books, magazine and toys!"
