"This place is a joke! I came in to file my 2019 return in 2020, now here it is 2023, THREE YEARS LATER... and after 10 office visits and numerous phone calls to the senior accountant, he still did not file before the 3 year time deadline. Is H & R going to pay me for the money they lost me or just direct me to their hotline?"

"It wasn’t until our experience this year (Jan 2023) that I realized you don’t really have to be an expert to work for H&R Block. The guy we had was clueless, couldn’t even fill out our address right, got stuck on a simple question had to ask the lady next to him for help and then call someone on the phone for help. We asked the lady next to him to help him and she said she was clocked out and left. Seriously spent almost two hours there and he maybe got ten questions done. They were closing so we said we’d come back. We left and did our taxes on turbo tax in half the time we watched this guy struggle. No hate towards the man, but shame on H&R Block for even letting this man do taxes let alone charging people to have him do them."

"Full disclosure, I'm a last minute filer because I pay every year. Every year the office I go to is accommodating to my last minute tax filing needs. There is NEVER any judgment and the lady who sits at the desk couldn't be nicer. Despite the phones ringing off the hook, clients walking in, and tax professionals needing something, this lady maintains a professional attitude and is kind no matter the chaos."
