"Straight forward BBQ restaurant, enjoyed a local IPA and the rib and pulled pork combo plate. The Carolina Vinegar sauce was tangy with a little heat, which I enjoyed! The ribs were tender and had great flavor. The pulled pork was okay, nothing special. The onion rings were stellar especially in their Original BBQ sauce. Finished off dinner with a slice of Lemon Ice Box Pie… well worth every calorie! Will definitely stop in next time I’m traveling through Montgomery."
"This place was really good. I ordered the brisket plate with collard greens and macaroni and cheese. I could have eaten a 5 gallon bucket of those greens. Crunchy and a nice spice. I ordered the fatty brisket and it was great too. The only knock was the mac and cheese, it had a layer of cheese on top and it was chewy but other than this it was great."
"We enjoyed a very tasty meal...BBQ chicken quarters, back ribs, corn, fruit, and the corn muffins with honey butter...all of it delicious. Shadow waited our table, she took care of all our needs and was very pleasant to talk to...forget the other food choices in this area, Jim 'N Nick's is where you want to eat..."
"An Alabama barbecue restaurant chain. Very nice inside. There is a bar area and a room for gatherings. Always awesome BBQ no matter to which location I've been. This restaurant is at least as good as any of the other Jim N' Nick's. We came in for a late lunch (1:30pm) and were seated right away. Service was very good. Food was too. Usually pretty busy at dinner time. Small corn muffins are complimentary and delicious. I ordered the full rack of baby back ribs, bbq corn on the cob and collard greens. This is messy but awesome tasting food. Corn was fresh and crisp, ribs were genetously meaty, and greens were good but a tad salty. I couldn't have finished all the food. The ribs were so meaty I had 2/3s boxed up to go. I finished up with the banana pudding which was awesome too."
