"The breakfast is #1. Best biscuits around! Gravy homemade deliciousness. They might be known for miles for their fantastic BBQ, but you've gotta try their breakfast!"
"My husband has been visiting this restaurant since he was a boy. I've been with him several times for lunch, but not breakfast. I finally had time to go with him and it was so good! Biggest Biscuits, good portion of ham, although mine had the bone, and was a lot smaller than his. Hashbrowns were cooked just right!. Waitress was good at keeping all her tables happy."
"Ken's BBQ has some pretty good BBQ. Highly recommend getting the chopped pork there. The regular barbeque sauce is a split between Memphis and South Carolina style sauce (a slightly thick vinegary sweet sauce). Do get their banana pudding as well (some of the better ones I've had here in the south). The ambiance is friendly and inviting, and the wait staff were attentive and served with a smile. It is tucked away further out from Birmingham, but it is worth the drive. I heard the breakfast here is pretty good as well, so I will be back for it next time I am in the area."
"The new spot Ken's moved to was so needed! Ken's used to be one of the very best "hole-in-the-wall" BBQ places in Alabama. Now, it's still some of the best BBQ you can get, but you can spread out a little! We moved, but it's STILL worth traveling an hour there and a very satisfied hour back!"
