Shipshewana Campground South Park

"Beautiful campground with gravel level sites. Picnic tables are old without patio area to sit. Bathrooms are clean with laundry area. Located centrally in Shipshewana. Grocery store is within walking distance. Prices are reasonable for the area."

"We were traveling to Nappanee IN to have work done on our motorhome and needed a place to stay before our appointment. We found a space available here in Shipshewana so gave it a try. Very nicely maintained RV park with lots of grass and trees. The sites are on the narrow side but ok. The water pressure was down around 30 psi at our spot so had to use our water pump. They do provide wifi but very slow so only good for email and basic stuff, no streaming. We rated it a 3 because it lacks some amenities like a pool and sports courts as well as the narrow sites. It still is a very nice RV park. We would stay here again"

"Fantastic stay at Shipshewana South! We were only passing through so unfortunately it was only 1 night. I wish we could’ve stayed a week! Nice scenery in Amish country. Kevin at the office was very helpful and super friendly. All the people we passed walking around were extremely friendly and welcoming. Quiet, easy pull through site, easy hook ups - couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend and will definitely stay longer in our next trip through!"

"Awesome people, awesome town! This campground is nestled downtown Shipshewana, just a few miles away from all the local ammenities, shopping and restaurants. The park itself was very clean, had shower houses, pavilion, a small store, and VERY friendly staff. We reserved an electric only site, and were in the back by the cow pasture which was perfect for us because it was beautiful and more spacious. There were also sites near the draft horses, and the rest were relatively close together. The only reason I'm giving this park a 4-stars is because there was an issue with someone parking on the wrong site and the park staff didn't do much to rectify the situation. All in all everything was ok, and we did not force anyone to move, but it just would have been nice if they did. The only other negative was there was no pool or things to do around the park. Otherwise, it's an excellent park, well taken care of, and extremely nice staff to work with. We would highly recommend this park if you're visiting the area. A special note to the staff, thank you for letting us move sites and working with all the chaos. You are great!"
