"A local favorite and must-try if you’re visiting Selma, Lannie’s is well-loved by Selmans and tourists alike and was recommended to us by everyone we spoke to. Their food comes out piping hot, tender and crispy! The bbq plates and catfish were a hit—side note, some of the best catfish I’ve had and was tender and crispy. Highly recommend getting all the sides. The fried okra was fresh and green under batter, onion rings came out golden fried and buttery moist, absolutely loved the corn nuggets too, potato salad was fresh, but on the sweeter side. Desserts also looked great even though we did not try. There is seating outside on picnic tables, but they are mainly operating curbside ordering as of Dec 2022."

"I ordered the "Swamp Burger." This Burger had 2 beef patties, pulled pork, a thick slice of bologna. All of the toppings were fresh. First time going to this establishment and I was not disappointed. If you're ever in Selma, AL you must try this place."

"Speechless, too good food !!! You can order by phone, we waited almost 1 hour, but it was really worth it. The swamp burguer is the best we have ever tasted. The special pork sandwich, the corn nuggets divine. Everything was too good !!! For something they won the best barbecue in Alabama in 2015 and the prices, super affordable. I loved. I would just eat there again."

"HANDS DOWN THE BEST BBQ I’VE EVER HAD! Traveling through Selma and stopped here for lunch. Staff was very kind and welcoming. Ordered the bbq sandwich. Juicy and saucy! The BBQ is the right mix of sweet and spicy. And the crispy pork skin hidden inside took this already delicious sandwich to a whole other level! We had to go back and order a second sandwich before we left. Don’t leave Selma without giving this place a try!"
