Waffle House

"This is the most unwelcoming Waffle House I have ever been too. I come here on my 1 hour lunch on occasion and every time I have gotten here they have waisted my entire lunch. I’ve been sitting in my booth for 15 minutes i wasn’t welcomed, I watched them clean tables in front of me. No drink, no silverware, nothing. I imagine I can sit here and waste my lunch break. Unfortunately this is the second time this has happened. The first time I had placed a to go order and had stood at the register for 20 minutes still being ignored for them to say oh I’m sorry I thought someone else had helped you."

"My wife and I stopped here tonight for a late supper, it was almost 9pm. We were greeted as we walked in, but it was a good 5 minutes before anyone came to the table to get our order. We ordered coffee, that tasted like it was burnt. The food was the only thing that was decent about this visit. Two cooks and three waitresses, one waitress had just walked in and was ignoring customers because she was on her cell phone and then she was behind the counter eating. Our waitress only came back once, just before we were done with our meal, to ask if we wanted more coffee. We said yes, but requested fresh coffee. She grabs the coffee that had been sitting there since before we walked in and said it was fresh. Fresh coffee is coffee that was brewed while you were sitting in the restaurant, not coffee that had been sitting there for 30 minutes or so. Will not be back to this location ever again, poor service and poor attitudes."

"Upon arrival, there were no seats which was ok. However, no one acknowledged us. After about 5 minutes, and 2 tables leaving, I went and ask one of the ladies how does seating work, because this was my first time at a Waffle house. She stated that I can sit anywhere a table is open. At this point, no table was cleaned as yet though. About 1-2 minutes later one of the ladies (Alex ) saw me looking around lost and asked me if I wanted a table. I told her yes and she seated me and took my order. I guess she could be considered the savior of my rocky first time experience. Perhaps some changes need to be made, where guest are greeted when they walk in, and it can just be said, we will be with you in an minute or if dining in, you can sit at any open table."

"There was a very nice fook with silver teeth in his mounth he gave me food while i was waiting on my food because it took so long"

"service was just passable, place was dirty, one customer had three children that were excessively noisy and running around the restaurant disturbing customers and left the biggest mess I ever saw. The manager should have controlled that problem, it ruined what should have been a nice experience for me and the other guests. The food was hot and good, exactly as I ordered. I understand that woman comes every Wednesday and that they always act like that. I certainly will never go there on Wednesday again. I went back today just to see if last time was an odd day. I had the worst service I have ever had, will NOT go there again. A gentleman sat down beside me at the bar, said he was a regular. He spoke to everyone as he came in. After about 10 minutes when no one had even spoken to him, he got up and left. My waitress had bright red hair, she talked and played music on the juke box before getting my order. I have been in management 30 years, only the cook could ever work for me. He was trying to get things going but was ignored. Whoever the manager/owner is, he better get hold of that problem or that place will lose a lot of business."
