"This restaurant is a very underrated place. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The person working made both my wife and I feel like we were old friends. Not only was the food freshly prepared to order but it was also made with fresh ingredients. The Gulf shrimp tasted like it just came in that day and the tomatoes tasted like they were out of a garden. I can't speak more highly of Abba's and my wife and I will be back with our family as often as possible."
"After reading a number of positive reviews my wife and I stopped in for lunch today while traveling through Mobile. When we pulled up I noted a neon "Open" sign in the window that was off and wondered if they were closed today. Since I'd driven out of my way I walked up to the door and found they were in fact open and had an empty dining room aside from a single party of three. We had the Greek salad and a gyro. Both were okay at best while dining however the gyro generated some serious regret later in the day. The iced tea was undrinkable - even after trying some sweetener. The place was literally falling down around us - especially the ceiling. I was so hopeful but now am just disappointed."
"I will start by saying I am not a fan of Mediterranean food, however, Mr Abba has changed all that. I just ordered the humus and then stuffed grape leaves. Both were so delicious! Authentic foods made from scratch. Mr Abba is so very friendly and accommodating. Great place to meet for lunch. I have not tried supper yet but will be soon. I highly recommend this little place. Great food, very affordable prices. The atmosphere is a little dark but cozy."
"How had I not found this jewel that is only blocks from my family's home in Mobile? I went here today with my mom for lunch and it was amazing. I had delicious crab cakes and she had even more an even delicious gyro. The prices are too fair - they could stand to raise them. The server (owner?) was charming and speedy. 10/10 will go every time I visit Mobile."
"Amazing! I tried this place about two months ago. It was so good I went back for dinner. I go at least three times a week now. Amazing service, quiet atmosphere, welcoming & the food of always delicious. Mr. Abba is a gem!"
