"I was in this restaurant on February 24, 2024 for a birthday celebration dinner. I ordered the Salmon along with Scallops, Baked Potato and Fried Green Tomatoes. The food was horrible my salmon was bland, scallops dry, potato burnt and the tomatoes weren’t done. I live in Georgia and I was excited because I used to eat at the southside restaurant and it was delicious. I really don’t know what happened this time. I really wish I could upload the pictures because I still have the food. I just don’t know how. Thank you so very much!"
"I took my dad and aunt here for lunch and it happened to be my dad's birthday as well. The food was amazing. Everyone liked their dishes. I had blackened snapper, asparagus, and steamed cabbage. My dad had the salmon and my aunt had a pan seared tuna. I asked if they had anything they did for birthdays and they said they did not but accommodated for me. I chose a slice of their carrot cake for my dad. He said it was the best carrot cake he's ever had. A great experience and staff!"
"Let me tell you something… I just went here and got a half dozen of their house oysters and they were PHENOMENAL. For the size and the taste…. I couldn’t believe it. I also ordered the Cajun catfish strips… BOMB. Service was great, Atmosphere was light. Really enjoyed it. Will be back!"
"I usually go to the Downtown/Southside location. I'm not fond of the Hoover location. Service was subpar at best. Food quality was still good. Food was still tasty. But I did not enjoy my experience dining at the Hoover location. I did not feel welcome at all. I will not return to the Hoover location. Back to the Southside I go. The stuffed grouper was tasty. My boyfriend prefers shrimp and Grits from Fish Market versus anywhere else."
