"Pet Friendly area next to the Lions Pavilion! Nice and easy to get to just off downtown Manistee. North Beach is much larger but this was calm and not crowded and very easy to get to. Sandy and calm water for the dogs to play"
"Just like 5th across the channel it's a great place to go with the family and also ship watch. Although this one has a dog park, number of playgrounds surround it, baseball fields, big boat launch with large parking lot, plenty of room for bday parties, picnics and cookouts."
"A beautiful white sandy beach on the shore of Lake Michigan. The beach area, which has a playground for the kids, bathrooms, and a concession stand, is clean and well maintained. There's also a pier that you can take a leisurely stroll on for a beautiful view. 1st Street Beach is a very nice place for the entire family."
