"Hunter with Jay’s appliance came to diagnose my washing machine which would not spin. He was not in my home 10 minutes, after hardly doing a thing to actually check my washer, he claimed I needed a new drain pump. I initially was going to let them order this $350 part, which would have taken till following week. Another company already had it in stock so I canceled with Jay’s, still paying a $95 trip fee. However the other company, having actually look at the washer discovered a bra wire broke off and got hung. I paid little to nothing compared to the drain pump that it didn’t need. Thank God I didn’t just take the first opinion. Get a second opinion before using Jay’s Appliances."

I called to speak asking to speak with someone with technical experience to help me figure put what kind of motor I need for a 1970s antiquish fan and asked if I could bring it in for some help. All answers were no, we don't work on them. That's not what I asked bit thank you."

"I had 2 washers that needed to be looked at. I was given the quote on the phone $85 for first machine $55 for second. Unfortunately, both machines were to costly to justify the investment. I’m going to check out Jay’s scratch and dent inventory. Their phone quote matched their fee so I’m very happy with that. Seem like a honest business."
