Just Show Up Campground

"Stayed here a while back and didn’t feel like a “legit” operation. Definitely some issues (no bathrooms, trash left from previous guests, etc.) and the neighbors don’t like it when you set up camp at the beach. Seemed like we were tucked away in someone else’s front yard. Not very private."

But if you're looking to pull off the road and rest at an affordable place without all the frills, then you've come to the right place! The owner, Andy, is super friendly and helpful. I can only echo what many others have said in their reviews. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here while we took in the sights of the Eastern UP. "This place was way more than accommodating!! My husband and I had spent a week camping and exploring as much as we could of the U.P. On our way home we found we needed a place to stay for the night. Every campground around was cash based. And we were fresh outta cash and only had card. Lucky for us my husband found this amazing place! We called the owner and discussed our situation. He was more than happy to help and he had a way for us to pay with card!!! He was very kind and even drove out to help us set up and got our camper hooked to electricity!!! If I could rate this higher I would! There was a full working bathroom, with a cool shower head!!! (It changes colors ❤️)"
