"Great location. Super friendly staff. Laundry clean. W&D 2$ a load/awesome. Showers and restrooms clean. Many things for kids to do if you travel with children. I would have given 5 stars but the pull through sites are a bit too narrow. It feels like your neighbors are too close."

"For the past 3 years I have come to this KOA to stay in one of their cabins. The cabins are always clean, the staff are always friendly and helpful, the location is really easy to once you cross the bridge. I have no complaints, my time spent here always meets my expectations, there is nothing that I would improve."

"We had a wonderful time staying in mid September in a deluxe cabin! All the amenities we needed and a short drive to everything we wanted to do in the UP. Our only complaint was that the arcade and jumping pillow closed down by 6pm with plenty of warmth and daylight left, and the mini golf course could use some love."

"We’re not normally KOA types and prefer campgrounds without all the fuss and extras. But it was our only available option so we stayed. And… we didn’t hate it. For the price of KOAs, we expected much more from the bathrooms/showers. They were clean enough to use but still a bit icky. The water pressure was awesome, though. Definite brownie points there. Also brownie points in the site size department. They were nice and large (though no trees in between you and the next guy). The free shuttle to the Mac Island ferries was an awesome perk. That was super helpful and they even dropped us back off right at our campsite. Loved that. We used the laundry here and that was good, too. $2 per machine and they actually cleaned our clothes (hey, some don’t)."

"Some good amenities for the kids. Not a koa Holiday, but the jumping pillow and golf was a hit. Clean, and quiet hours respected. Staff was kind enough to add a bag of ice to our cooler, along with a bundle of wood, via text before we got back from the island. Maybe avoid site 45 if given the option. It's pretty uneven we couldn't really find a level spot for the picnic table. And it's right up against a couple cabins so you feel like you need to be quiet. But we didn't pay to choose our spot, so that's on us. Had a great time with kids and some friends."
