"I went here to have a muffler (that I had purchased online) installed. My dad taught mechanics at community college and I've worked on my own car for years......but I have a broken hand so can't do my own work plus the muffler was through the brackets and those ends needed to be cut off old muffler and new ones welded on with new muffler.....i don't have a welder on top of broke hand and I'm from another state. Pretty basic and simple, right? So he cuts my muffler off then tries to tell me the new one doesn't fit..........first off, a proper mechanic would have checked the fit before disabling my vehicle. He also threw the muffler he cut off into a pile so couldn't compare old to new at that point. Then he spent an hour and a half doing whatever. And charged me $200. It was a simple $40 job.....but I would have paid him $200 anyway. And the new muffler is on and working. But knowing I bought it online......if it really was the wrong muffler.......i could have returned it for correct one. But I had done my research and it was the correct part, he couldn't and shouldn't install wrong parts. And once he cut old muffler off and tried to tell me new one was wrong, my vehicle was disabled and I was stranded. Just felt like he took advantage of me."
"Great experience. My truck got put into the shop right as they was suppose to do my exhaust system. They worked with me and held the products they special ordered for me until I got my truck back. Exhaust was installed and sounds perfect. A++"
