Waffle House

"I took my daughter there for breakfast with family last week because she's never been to one before, ever. It was an excellent choice, the food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. My past experiences with Waffle House have always been on the mediocre to bad side, so I was apprehensive going there, especially being from out of state. I couldn't have been happier with the cleanliness of the place or, more importantly, the great food and service. On our long journey home, my daughter kept pointing out all the Waffle Houses we could visit. After this visit I'm quite sure we will be visiting them more often. This place is highly recommended, in my opinion."

"I’m a truck driver so I deal with a lot of idiots every day all day. Mikayla I believe her name was was very welcoming she was jumping from customers to washing dishes to helping the cook. It was the best service I have had in awhile her and the cook got my food perfect it was like ma cooked it back home!"

"Worst Waffle House yet ! Waitresses ignored us, had to ask for a coffee. Forgot the ordered waffle. No refill coffee. Waitress Jessica kept attitude that was not pleasant. A well deserved $1.00 tip. But I won't let this Waffle House change my high opinion. Thanks."

"When was the last time you ate at a Waffle House? I can't remember. My friend and I had lunch at 12:30. We ordered the T-bone steak meal with hash browns and Texas toast. We had to wait for the server to clean a table before we could sit down. We waited for about five minutes before it came. The T-bone was tender enough and there were two heaping mounds of hash browns. We did get a steak knife, A-1 sauce, and ketchup. No problem with the food. The not so pleasing parts were the syrup dispenser sitting on top of the napkin dispenser with the syrup leaking down all over the top. It was a nasty mess. While we were eating, it was incredibly noisy with the dishes constantly clattering. We could hardly hear each other. As we were leaving, I couldn't help but notice the tremendous amount of cooked pancake batter around the machines and on the floor. Not exactly sanitary looking. Not to mention the filthy coffee pots sitting there. I'm glad I only had to use a knife and fork. I brought my own water. You can't be too careful nowadays."

"I ordered the All star with coffee. I asked for dark waffle, over medium well eggs, crisp bacon and hashbrowns scattered smothered and covered... I got a light waffle, over light eggs, undercooked limp bacon in a pool of grease and my hashbrowns were overcooked on one side and not cooked at all on the other with burnt onions. The server was sweet but the food was Awful! I went to the other Northport location to start with and sat down to a film on the lowbar so I tried to wipe it with a napkin and whatever was on the bar was a black residue . So I left and went to the location in front of lowes in northport where apparently the cook needs to be retrained."
