"Sept 2023: refinished our pool oct. 2022, cemented in the light. Said "no diver available to repair, close and call in the spring". Called June 13, 2023, July 20, 2023, August 7, 2023, August 28, 2023, September 3, 2023, September 18, 2023, September 20, 2023. Each time I was promised a work order had been issued and I would be contacted in a few days to schedule the repair. Didn't happen. Currently waiting for a call back that Steve said would be in an hour - its been 2 hours and no response. You decide - is this a company you want to deal with?"

"They never showed up to open my pool which was scheduled a month in advance. I called on the day it was scheduled to confirm they were coming and I was told yes between 3-5pm. They never showed up. I called and left a message, no one responded nor did they call the next day to apologize or reschedule. Now I am left scrambling around trying to find another company to open my pool. I do not recommend this company. Update to your response: I was home all day working right by the window where the gate is. No one rang my doorbell and no truck pulled into the driveway as I checked several times throughout the day and spent the afternoon clearing a path for the pool guys to go through the garage. No one called me at all in the afternoon as my phone was right at my side. And I called and left a message and stated that I was home all day waiting and no one showed up. And no one called to follow up to my message that I left that evening. I never left the house and did NOT receive any calls!"

"We have been using American Pool for over 15 years. We have owned our home for 25 years and for the first 10 years we used 4 pool services until we switched to American. We have a very large complex salt pool and they keep it looking top notch. They have always been responsive to us and have kept us up to date with the latest technology. I have also enjoyed the staff very much over the years. I see some bad reviews here and maybe things did not work out for whatever reason. But my vote says they are the very best pool service company in the metropolitan area. And I am not related or neighbors with these people. Just a long term satisfied customer"

"My experience with American pool..after 10's of thousands spent for resurface. 3 years have gone by with nothing but excuses and broken promises to resolve my pool surface issues. One of the owners Greg blames it on the type of product used. Very unprofessional and non existent customer service. Got my money, don't pay these guys untill your completely satisfied and contract complete."
