"While not the best State Park in Michigan, it certainly is a neat little place. It is also one of the only few State Parks in Wayne County. When I visited, I was getting off of work in late October and it was very nice out, in the upper 70s. It was in the peak of autumn and the leaves were changing colors. I found that to be very pleasant as I hiked through the trails. There were a lot of nice bike trails here. I found that to be one of this park's strong attributes. I saw that there was a pumpkin patch with a little gift shop by it. This may be the petting zoo during the warmer months. Like many other other state parks, Maybury had a nice playground, picnic areas and pavilions for people to hang out and have parties or things of such. The most popular thing at this State Park appears to be the horseback riding. While I did not ride any horses when I was here, I did see signs. And by reading the reviews, I can see that riding a horse is the thing to do. Overall, I couldn't give this State Park 5 stars because it just can't compare to some of the others in the state. But for the area, it certainly is quite a nice place. It is somewhat festive with what they have to offer. The biking trails are one of this park's strong suits. They also have horseback riding and a petting zoo."

"Great place to see the fall colors in the Northville area. Plenty of parking space available. They have shelters available for gatherings. You can walk or bike in the trails which is few miles in length. There are mountain biking trails and horse trails."

"The fall scenery is very impressive! A great place to see fall leaves! Unfortunately, the restrooms were closed after October 22 and the portable toilets were also closed. We had to drive to nearby restaurant to use restrooms."

"So beautiful. My sister and I walked most of the trails and it was about 6 miles. They have poop bags for dog owners, bike stations to fill up or fix your bike, water fountains, and bathrooms at the start of the trails. Benches and maps are scattered throughout the trails. Most trails are paved and very open easy to push the stroller through."
