Peachtree Apartments

"I saw the model unit prior to move in date but was unable to see the actual unit I’d be renting until the day of. When I walked in, the unit was dirty, the dishwasher was not secured properly, the closet doors were broken, carpet was wet and bunched up, amongst other issues. I notified staff immediately I would not be moving in. The manager, Sondra, has refused to return $900 of my security deposit and told me to dispute the charge with my card company. She also told me she would not return my $100 holding fee because it has been past 15 days. When I reminded her that she was notified before 15 days had passed, she told me she would have to talk to their financial department. It’s been 3 months and they have still been resistant to communicating or returning my money. They do not answer the phone when they see I’m calling anymore. The outside of the apartments is run down, as well as the inside. I wish I could rate this place 0 stars."

"CAUTION when you move here do not accept a first floor apartment they flood all year round !!!! They send someone to come vacuum the water out the carpet and dry it but that is all! Paying 1130 a month for an apartment like this ."

"The staff of the Peach Tree apartments are horrible with the exception of Ms. Kitty. My sister moved out in August and her ex still lives there. However, at the time of her relocating there was no lease in place and had not been for nearly a year or longer. The office was notified of her relocating and did not require any documentation from her. She signed a lease at her new location on 8/1. Fast forward the ex is behind on the rent and my sister keeps getting 7-day notices. To add insult to injury they allowed him to electronically sign a lease that he fraudulently added her name to. Sondra (office manager) has been of absolutely no assistance. The time my sister lived there she has had ongoing issues with Sondra being unprofessional and rude to her. At this point she is trying to be removed from having financial responsibility for a place she no longer lives in. They are telling her that her ex needs to bring in proof of income for her to be removed although she showed proof of her signing a lease somewhere else in august. In the midst of all of this my sister has asked on multiple occasion to speak with someone over Sondra. Ms. Maria (whose just as rude as Sondra) informed her that there was no one to contact (implying Sondra has no boss). So, on this day 12/8/23 I was informed that the regional (Jeremiah) was going to be on the premises. I called Peach Tree and asked to speak with him> Maria and Sondra refuse to forward a message after Maria told me he was interviewing someone and would be interviewing until 2pm. Now remember how unprofessional they have been through this whole ordeal. Warranting the need to speak with someone else. Maria and Sondra refuse to forward the message. They both kept trying to force me to give a name and unit address after I explained that I was uncomfortable speaking with them due to previous issues and unprofessional behavior. Parts of the conversation was recorded, and they were informed that it was being recorded as proof of them refusing to let me speak with Jeremaih. Sondra hung up because I would not give her any information besides the reason for my call which leads me to believe you all know that you are inappropriate and don't want that information passes along. I don't know how Ms. Kitty works with you all and I pray that peace and professionalism come to that office while Jeremiah is interviewing. I will be filing a complaint with BBB so that someone above Sondra and Maria can receive this message and assist in resolving the issue."
