"I wanted to end my lease early due to poor financial well being and the complex wanted me to pay double my rent (roughly $1800) to get my security deposit back ($550) as well as keep paying rent for another month. I understand that it’s a business and they need to make money but this is ridiculous to say it nicely. Also it’s rather expensive for the quality of living space (or lack of) as well as poor condition of the apartment I was in. I would’ve rather move into a trailer than this place."

"I've lived here for almost 7 years and had a few different forms of management. Brie the property manager is so kind and understanding compared to some of the past managers. She is willing to work with you and very informative. Great communication with a tenant on any concerns or troubles. She is absolutely AMAZING and a great addition to Carlyle!!!"

"I DO NOT recommend renting here! There is MOLD in my apartment, holes in the walls, kitchen appliances DO NOT work, bathtub is leaking, overall whole apartment is falling apart. I went to the leasing office and brought everything to their attention with PHOTO EVIDENCE, and the manager, Brie, had told me that it was my fault and responsibility because I didn’t fill out the check list you are supposed to receive upon move in. I DID NOT receive one, few months after I moved in the leasing consultant I worked with to get the apartment no longer “works there”. How ironic. By no means is this place worth paying as much as you are asked to pay. Even if it was clean, the leasing office staff is absolutely TERRIBLE! I will be moving out as soon as possible!!"

"The staff at Carlyle Place Apartments are wonderful! I lived there for a year and had no issues that were not easily taken care of. The maintenance team (Tyler and co) are on top of their game. They respond swiftly to work orders. The office staff (Taja and the new guy, Skyler) are very welcoming and attentive to your needs. Things really got better 3-4 months ago when the new Manager (Brieon) stepped in. She is very accommodating, respectful and passionate about making the facility homely. The facility might need a bit of upgrades here and there but the staff make it worthwhile. I would live there again if I ever came back to Michigan."
