The Villas on Fir

"Do not recommend renting here. My husband and I have been living in this "luxury" apartment complex since the beginning of October and here is what I will say.... the management is awful and extremely rude. Anytime you send a message to them about anything going on, they respond with snarky mass emails to everyone in the complex to address concerns. The valet trash is constantly messed up and never seems to be on a consistent schedule, forcing residents to take their trash to the compactor which is an absolute disaster and disgusting at all times. Considering we pay a fee every month for this "valet trash" service, you would think they would make sure your trash is getting picked up when it is supposed to, but that is never the case. In addition, workout equipment in the gym is broken (2/3 treadmills don't work properly and some of the weights machines are busted to where you cannot adjust the weight). Finally, the dog waste stations around the complex are literally overflowing with dog bags and nobody will clean it up. I sent photos and emails to the leasing office and each time got a response stating "we will take care of it" and each day, nothing has been done. My husband stopped into the office to address our concerns in-person and there response was "we are aware and we are working with management to resolve everything" and still nothing has been done. Other residents have literally stopped picking up dog waste all together now because there is never a proper place to dispose of it, so every time you walk outside you have to watch where you are stepping. I have lived in a lot of other non-luxury apartments that were far nicer than this place and I have paid a lot less to live in them. For the amount I pay in rent every month, I would think this place would truly be "luxury" but that is not the case at all."

Their efforts go above and beyond their titles; they make the Villas on Fir feel like a community, which has reminded me how rare it can be to find a place like this elsewhere. We wholeheartedly recommend it to others seeking a place to call home."

"We moved to The Villas on Fir in 2021from the Chicagoland Area. What attracted us was the sense of community within the residence. When we moved here the office staff had Jennifer, Stacy & Allison. Then it changed Management & went to Zoe, Brittany & Ashley....but the only constant has been Mike & the Maintenance Team. We've had very few problems within out unit, but once a maintenance ticket has been created, they are very quick to respond. The only downside to having a new management team was our online portal had to changed. I miss the old Community Forum but I guess you can get that info from Facebook!! Ray B"

"The maintenance team is fantastic! Mike, Danny, and Kenny take care of maintenance requests quickly. They take time to answer my questions and have gone above and beyond. It’s nice having a great maintenance team that truly cares about us as residents and treats us like family."

"I like this place. The response to maintenance issue was great. I like that they have a on site program for cardboard recycle as well as a trash compacter. I willingly pay the $25 for my garbage to be picked up 5 days a week in front of my unit. For me it is located in a great location."
