Spring Lake Apartments

"First day move in. Dirty as a dumpster. the floor is full of mud and dirt and a nasty carpet under the sink. Trash hid in the carpet."

"Please don't move here unless you like maintenance going in your unit w/o notice or waiting for over a month for a refrigerator. The pictures online are just that, the apartments are old and needs updating. My fridge went out during the first month of living there. I called the front office Roxanner, and Nikki dragged their feet and decided to give me a fridge from the unit upstairs it was filthy, smelled like something crawled in it and died. I asked for a new fridge they denied my request and my food spoiled. Don't get caught up with the man made water sprinkler, the geese poop every where. Birds nest in the dryer vents, neighbors are kinda weird, unless you are in the mickey mouse club this might be the place for you. Maintenance are rude and intrusive and need to watch a you tube video to learn how to fix anything. . ."

"DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! They barely maintain a maintenance staff and their AC units go out like crazy in the summer. They won't call a contractor to come help get them fixed. Ownerships policy!!! Worst apartment I've lived in so far."

"We loved Spring Lake Apartments. The location was our favorite. Just tucked away enough to have some privacy but also within a 2 mile radius of everything we needed/wanted (workout facilities, shops, malls, restaurants, etc). The maintenance crew was great, fixing any problems and always nice/professional.The front desk crew is also always pleasant and responds to all emails with concern for any possible issue. The pool was nice to have in the summers. The workout room we passed on. The equipment was outdated and not a ton of choices, but still a nice offer. The reason I didn't put 5 stars is because of pricing. The price was a little high for everything that came along with the location, the inside of the apartment, amenities, etc. The insides were fine, but not great quality. They allow smoking so our apartment smelled of old smoke. They also allow pets, so we were always finding pet hair in our apartment, after cleaning even. The pet thing also became an issue when our upstairs neighbors got a puppy and we realized how thin the walls were. Their puppy would howl for hours when the people went out. We could also hear, what seemed like, every step the dog took. Then there is the fact you can't make everyone clean up after their pets. Something that you can't always trust with apartment renting, is the deposit. We had such ease with getting our deposit and no fuss!"
