"I am not usually one to do reviews, but I felt I needed to for Hanover Townhomes. My husband and I were looking at Hanover Townhomes for a long time before we actually took the step to move here. We knew the nice, quiet atmosphere of Caledonia and looked forward to making the move. We are certainly glad we did. The buildings and furnishings are very nice and well maintained, as is the outside landscape. The office staff, especially Kelli, are attentive, respectful, and go above and beyond for their tenants. If you have a legitimate concern, they will stop at nothing to solve the issue for you. Prior to moving in, you are given all the information you need to know about community rules and what to expect living here. You are also made aware of what they expect of you as a member of this community; there are no surprises. If you can afford to live here and pay your rent on time, you respect your neighbors, you can follow the community rules and guidelines (which are actually just basic etiquette), and you enjoy your quiet and privacy, this place could be a great fit for you, just as it is for us."

"A wonderful place to live. The community is placed in a very quiet area, which is amazing, specifically at night when you get the peace you deserve after a hard day of work. The management is going above and beyond if you encounter any issues of any sort and won't rest until those are solved. The townhouse interiors are of the highest quality, and the blueprints of the units are modern and perfectly thought out. You can choose whether or not to have an unfinished basement with the majority of unit types. I'm specifically in love with the high ceilings and the pretty cabinets used throughout the whole unit. You are responsible for your own trash, which is amazing. It gives you the benefit of being in control and won't let you end up with an overfilled container that your neighbors have already filled to the brim. With a monthly fee of $22 (as of February 2024), which is incredibly affordable. Before making the choice of finalizing the lease contract, you are going to be given a guidebook with rules to follow, none of which are out of the ordinary. As mentioned before, the management takes your concerns seriously. If you ever encounter issues with your unit or members of the community, the management will make sure to solve your issues in the most professional and timely manner. I look forward to many more years in this community. Please take into consideration that the negative reviews here are mainly made by non-residents who are unfortunately unable to afford to live in this community or by tenants who seem to find it difficult to follow simple common rules. Without those unfair ratings, this place would be an almost solid 5-star place to live."

"Do NOT move here if you have children, or at least more than one. And that singular child needs to be very quiet and if you have a dog plan on getting tons of emails about the neighbors complaining if they hear your dog bark, or if you're walking with your dog and it barks. It is a very, very, very conservative community. The residents absolutely want to keep to themselves and not interact and PUR management encourages residents to email the office with complaints about dogs and various things because they dish out fines like water from a faucet. I have a child with a severe disability which impairs her cognition. She would accidently hold the door open too long and occasionally my dog (an adolescent pup at that time) would dart out. We (my sons and I) would immediately run out to get him but invariably someone watching from their window would email the office. They know she is cognitively disabled and I would apologize, work with my child to help her understand and I eventually got the dog trained to effectively not dart out but they kept increasing the "dog off leash" fee until it was $250. I had issues with the neighbors behind me directing lewd behavior toward my kids and myself go unanswered. (Police report to back up) I'm being bullied by the man living next door and that is also being dismissed. Your rent WILL increase every year, your trash is held in a monopoly by Arrow Waste, who they have contracted with, and it will run around $100 every 2 months (or more) and your sewage and water will be $130-$150 every 2 months. Your only internet option is Spectrum, which isnt horrible, but it has gone out 12 times in 2 years at least. You'll have to reset the router each time unless you rent theirs. PUR moved their late fee up from the 4th of the month to the 3rd. So if you do not pay by midnight on the 3rd you incur a $75 late fee. Caledonia is a PITA to get in and out of. It's a bottleneck on Broadmoor and the OGs that haven't retired want to keep it quaint so there will be no changing it to 4 lanes for a long time. Plan on 30-40 min comutes. If you're looking for an expensive, uptight townhome to rent and want to keep to yourself and complain often, this is your place!!!! One positive: Maintenance requests are easy and are resolved quickly. Landscape has been sub par. Plan on doing normal exterior maintenance, which at 2500/month is a crime. I've had about 3 downed trees next to me for 3 months, but maybe I need to file a complaint to get this ball rolling. Most of this is just a heads up. No one really talks about these things on forums. I would have liked to have known some of these things prior to choosing this southern, conservative locale."

"This is the best leasing experience I’ve ever had. The townhouses were absolutely gorgeous and so spacious. The surrounding area was quiet and within walking distance of downtown Caledonia. Maintenance was prompt. We only left because we moved out of state, but would come back if we were back in the area. I miss it everyday! 10/10 recommend."

"We spent a little under a year at Hanover Townhomes. It is a great place to live in Caledonia. The area is quiet and clean. You're left alone except for the occasional upkeep from maintenance, but the management company is very responsive and helpful if you have questions or issues. What we liked best was that they had no breed restrictions for dogs, but you could only have 2, and they had to be spayed or neutered. Pricing can be considered more expensive, but the townhomes are fairly new and you have a decent amount of space in the home and the garage and good appliances, so we didn't mind the price. The dog park was a nice addition while we were there, and we mostly got to use it for ourselves because we rarely ran into others that needed to use it at the same time. They were also really good at clearing snow from the parking lots, which is free for guests or overflow parking. We highly recommend it if you can afford it."
