"Was mildly fun for the first hour or two until I decided to go to the bathroom and literally saw someone overdose on drugs turning blue and unresponsive. There was literally little to no one helping her or any sort of policy for when that happens apparently. Not sure if she made it out alive but that was enough for me to never want to come back."
"This place charges $5 per water (refuse to serve normal tap water even though they are more than capable to do so), the staff is rude and the place smells like weed. Incredibly overpriced and would not recommend and it’s not worth your time or money. Stay away!"
"I came to annex for my birthday! The club was already lit per usual. The owner let us continue to sit in a booth reserved by someone else , JUST for my special day shoutout to him! I had an amazing night "
"We came to see Pauly D who was great, but the security was insane. We were in the front just dancing and having a good time when one of the security guards came over and pushed my friend and I on the ground very aggressively. We both have bruises on our backs from how hard he pushed us down. The people around us were even shocked that he did that. It was clear he was very angry already because people were waving their hands in his face dancing to the music, but we’ve never experienced anything like that before. I am not one to write reviews or report things, but that security guard went way to far. Hopefully the management handles this or they’re definitely going to get sued at some point."
"I came here as a guest for an event that I helped host. I was encouraged to bring a +1 so I brought one of my best friends not knowing that my friend would later be treated like a second class citizen by the security here. In short, this place is transph*bic. And the security guards are rude as hell. You cannot host an event for a community grounded in social progressiveness and then discriminate against said group. Also, the bar was severely understaffed. I’m not sure if they let more people in than they could realistically serve or what but it would easily take 30-45 minutes of incessantly trying to get a bartenders attention before you could get something as simple as a canned beverage or bottle of water. Otherwise, the atmosphere here was nice. But if I’m going out to spend money I’d rather not do it somewhere where I’m going to be admonished like a child for trying to use the restroom."
