"Such a beautiful camp. Really well run. Small lake, air conditioned cabins, a tree-covered playground/common area. Horses, archery, high ropes, shooting activities. A gem to our community."

"Our school took a field trip here for the day. I received really positive feedback from both parents and students. They had a variety of activities to choose from. It was a fun day for everyone involved."

"There's so much more than the typical "summer camp experience"!! Life long skills are developed, friendships made and of course endless amounts of fun that is all customized to each child's age and interests. The staff is amazing, always engaged with the kids and truly adored by the kids. They even take the time to upload pictures DAILY so you can see everything your kids are up to. Campers also have the opportunity to transistion into Counselors in training then Counselors themselves once they're of age."

"Great place! Great staff! My kids love going to camp Potawotami every summer. The staff is amazing. Always adding new activities and new modern cabins. They spend alot of time on learning the principles of caring, respect, nature, etc."

"Took a drive down 700S after a day of fishing when I noticed the Camp Potawotami sign. Hadn't been up that way in 20 years. Seen the Camp was closed but from the visitors parking I noticed the lodge and all the memories returned. Attended the Camp around 79 and 80 it was an amazing gift for kids to learn team building and socialization since Facebook and texting did not exist back in the day. I see a lot of those same concepts remain today and I believe would be invaluable for children to help create a strong foundation. We actually sold popcorn for the Y back then to help pay for the camping trips. Although much has changed the memories remain. From earning a certificate for learning how to correctly use a pocket knife to the candy we could buy with our camp funds it was an amazing adventure. Archery, target shooting, nature walks, the swimming classes, crafts, the bunk bed cabins with plywood floors, and the little totem the teams won at lodge meals as a reward it all created memories that remain today. Regret not having a camera back then to capture the moments although I seen at least one picture of those bunk beds. I applaud those that continue that tradition. As children we did not know how valuable of an experience it was we were just having fun. As an adult I look back and say wow what a enriching experience that was surrounded by caring counselors and adults supervising the fun. We were truly lucky back then and sounds like the tradition continues even today. In a World of social media and everything visual I would strongly recommend such and adventure for your kids. It still leaves a positive impression on me almost 40 years later."
