"Hiked both the wetland and plains trails for total of four miles. Good place for a hike. There will be horse droppings on the wetland loop trail as that part is also for horses. You can avoid some by doing the outer bypass on the north side."

"Nice loops and great views. There's one loop close to another that can get you turned around at a 4 way x shaped double loop. Pretty easy trails slight inclines and dips however still easy trails. There's sometimes an outhouse however not one there in the month of January. Horse trails and picnic area with shelter"

"Very unique environment. We did the loop around the lake and it was very scenic. Pretty easy hiking with a few steep spots, but a LOT of flies and a significant amount of poison ivy on the south side of the lake. Highly recommend long pants and a bug hat if you're hiking in the summer."

"Great place to hike! So much to see and photograph. The trails are marked a little funny. We ended up getting lost but we got a good workout! Coolbough has been on my bucket list. Will be back!"
