"We were about to embark on a snowmobile club trip when my Ski Doo battery took a doo doo. There were seven auto parts stores within two miles, but not a single one had the battery we needed. While driving to another power sports store we saw Minocqua Sport Rental and stopped in. They had our battery in stock and let us pull in their heated garage to replace it with their tools. While in their garage they noticed one of the two spark plugs was bad just by starting the sled and listening to it. They fixed it immediately for a good price and quickly so that we could get back on the trails. These guys are awesome!"
"i brought my sled in for a few repairs, speedometer not working and a few other issues. Tim and his crew took care of these issues overnight. As well as greased the suspension, above and beyond the scope of work, all professionally done and ready to go! I definitely reccomend their repair shop!"
"These guys made our first ever trip up north Wisconsin fun, memorable but safe. We have never riden nor driven a snowmobile. Did not have to gears for it either. Tim guided us from picking out the day that was safe to be out, to putting our rental gears together, and lastly provided us with a trail and map to follow. Thank you so much. We will back!!"
"Customer service was great. Very personable and kind. However, we rented the fish/ski boat for a week and we ran into some problems. The power trim switch on the throttle was broken so we had to do it manually which was inconvenient to say the least. We also ran into some problems with the live well lines. We started to take on a great deal of water while out on the lake and had to dock quickly because of problems with the live well. This boat was very hard to start and if you aren’t a seasoned boater starting it would be impossible. The motor would also frequently die. Our experience was overall disappointing because of the problems with the boat and the price we paid for it."
"Sled rental January 2020. I’ve rented dozens of sleds over the past couple decades. I was very impressed with Minocqua Rental. Great equipment, fair rates, good selection of helmets/clothes. Location is right on the trail as well. I didn’t prep well for the trip and one of the sleds I brought with would not start. The guys in the shop came out, put in new plugs, troubleshot for 30min and found the frozen choke cable. They saved the day for us and wouldn’t even take a tip. I’ll be back!!!"
