"Trig's had great selection and was very clean. Prior I was at Walmart and it was a crowded mess. Trig's was a much better choice."

"Had the Thanksgiving meal and the sides were not good at all. Had the full turkey meal and the mashed potatoes were in 2 bags. They were grey and the consistency stiff, terrible! The stuffing had a major taste of sage and nothing else in it. The turkey took 3 hours to reheat instead of 2 I used a meat thermometer and needless to say, no one had sides. I especially am upset that I left a note for deli manager last weekend and she has yet to return my call. The cranberries were fantastic and green beans casserole was ok.still now Dec 16 find it odd no one replied to this."

"Trig's in Minocqua has quite a few things I can't find in other area grocery stores. The store is always clean and is laid out nicely. They have really great sales too. The produce department and the meat counter have great selections, and the butchers are friendly and helpful. My favorite area is the deli. The people behind the counter are so nice and there are so many options!"

"I’ve always enjoyed this store. I liked the “small town feel” of the store before they made a bunch of upgrades. The remodel is very nice and the store is always very nice but the prices are very high. I’m from the greater Chicago area, as a lot of your customer base is. I used to really appreciate seeing the high school kids working there. There were also some native students as well as some students with special needs/disabilities. Definitely important and I’m definitely in favor of providing jobs and opportunities for these young Americans. It seems like a lot of that has disappeared with the installation of the self checkouts. That’s sad. I think a lot of your customer base would be totally fine with paying a little bit more to support the diverse employee culture that you once had. The special needs employees always made my visit special. I would like to see more of that again instead of the self service machines. Now let’s talk about the meat department… I am not impressed with the selection of steaks. The pricing is extremely high, and wouldn’t be much of a problem if the quality of the steaks reflected that, but honestly any steaks on the shelves outside of the butcher showcase is dog food quality. Honestly, no joke. I went to the butcher showcase to buy an expensive steak but noticed that they weren’t even that good. Very expensive and there was way too much fat and stuff that would need to be trimmed off and by the time you are done doing that there isn’t much usable meat. I don’t mind spending a lot of money for a really good steak, but I couldn’t find a really good steak here. Ended up going to Walmart and getting two New York strips that were far superior to what I saw at trigs. That’s sad guys, you can do better. Give people what they want. The price wouldn’t be an issue if the quality was there."
