"Many deer that don't mind humans. Grew up here. It's still a wonderful place to come."

"It is one of the most beautiful nature centers. They offer different programs for all ages. They have educational toys, real-life animals, and a Dino digging site. The hicking path is beautiful. And their owl conservation programs are impressive."

"Holy Moly! What a gem! I've never seen such a cool nature center! A little library, awesome rocks and taxidermy, live animals, fossil dig area and a little sitting/art area for the kiddos. The bathrooms are super clean and spacious (which is like 5+ stars to me!) I can't wait to get back!"

"This’s probably the best nature center I have been to. The volunteers welcome you as you enter the building and make sure to answer any questions you have. They have suggestion box. The toys are nice for kids to use and the amphibians, snakes, bees and owls are well cared for by the staff. Trails are charming and you’ll see abundance of mature trees and wildlife. I’ll always come here to relax and walk."

"Stage Nature Center offers a nice hike through some well-marked trails in a slightly cramped locale. If you have younger kids, this place is perfect! The entire trail system is easily walked by anyone above the age of four. Younger kids might need to be carried or pushed in a stroller. Wood chip trails make the stroller a breeze to lead around. There is a herd of deer in the park which is fenced in. You would be hard pressed not to see a dozen or more just hanging out. We encountered a boil of garter snakes one Spring day. Really a remarkable sight! Turtles, salamanders, turkeys… Plenty to see that will entertain young and old."
