"We ordered some custom trim pieces, and when we went to pick them up, some of the pieces that were stocked had sold out. We were originally given a time of two additional weeks to wait before the in stock pieces would be ready, but Dan was able to move some things around and got the new pieces for us in two days! Although we do not need many wood pieces, Dan will be my first go to every time after this interaction!"

"We had a great experience working with Mans Lumber in Canton, and in particular, Krista Pelland, our kitchen design expert. When my husband and I first started out talking to various kitchen designers, Krista's expertise really stood out. She impressed us as someone we could count on to give us the advice we didn't yet know we needed. Krista helped us think about what we wanted from the remodeled space and guided us as we considered design features. She worked with us through every step including getting everything ordered in a timely way, and making sure the cabinets, countertops, and hardware would be delivered when they were needed during the renovation. She gave us good references on aspects of the kitchen that were beyond the scope of Mans products and we felt those related businesses were also high quality. She recommended a wonderful contractor with whom we enjoyed working and he did a terrific job. There are so many decisions with a kitchen remodel, and Krista made it easy from start to finish!"

"Mans renovated my bathroom with new cabinets and a quartz counter top. I was very pleased with how everything turned out. Our salesperson was on top of the entire process. The installers were experienced and professional and did a great job with the installation. If I ever need any more renovations in my house, I will definitely have Mans take care of the job."

"Ordered a door on Tuesday 08/15, there was an issue with their system and they weren’t able to process the order at that time so I had to leave my credit card information on paper to be processed. Received a call later that day saying their system was back up, payment was processed and was told it would be ready by Friday. Earliest I could pick up was Tuesday 08/22, call that morning they say it’s not read, there was an issue with their system. Told it would be done by the end of the day, they called to confirm it was done and I said I would be there within an hour. The employee tells me where to pickup at warehouse two. Since the door was not done earlier and his daycare will be dismissed before I come back, I have to bring my two year old. Not ideal. We get to the warehouse and after 16 mins of waiting with an antsy toddler, I’m told the door is not done and I will have to come back tomorrow. I drive up to the sales desk before I leave bc I drove 30 minutes out here and the employee called to tell me it was ready. The sales team confirms it’s ready in their system, so they call back to the warehouse and are told it is not in fact ready. I let the sales woman know how disappointed I am with this whole process, while my two year old is whining that he doesn’t want to be there and she agrees to have it delivered to my home. I get flagged down on the way out to let me know that John agreed to stay late and will have the door finished by the time I drive back. This kind service recovery gesture by John is the only reason for the two star review, in lieu of a one star. I had to sit in rush hour traffic for 35 minutes with a very upset toddler, which only added further insult to injury."

"We recently completed a gut/renovation of our master bathroom. We worked with Kathy Loomis at Man's Lumber to coordinate design, order, oversee, and purchase materials for the project. Kathy directed us to Herald Wholesale for plumbing fixtures and, if they don't have it, no one does when it comes to faucets, shower heads, toilets, etc. Herald works efficiently with Man's to complete the plumbing requirements. Since we were still in the Covid pandemic, some components needed (most notably tile) were difficult to source and provide in a timely manner. When one of our key tiles suddenly became unavailable, Kathy worked closely with their supplier (Emser Tile) to very rapidly source a new comparable tile and get it to our jobsite. It really was an "all hands on deck" effort and we are very grateful for their efforts on our behalf. There was an issue with procurement of our shower glass and door; the initial supplier backed out. However; Kathy worked with her contacts to find another shower glass contractor and our delay was just a few days. The end result is beautiful. Randy Andrews was our contractor for the project. He completed all work (demo, reframing, electrical, plumbing, painting, and most significantly tiling) on his own. We highly recommend him. He was meticulous, dependable, skilled, flexible, and careful to minimize effects on the rest of the house. He was recommended by Man's Lumber and coordinated his work and their supply delivery efficiently. In summary, I highly recommend Kathy Loomis and Man's Lumber as the route to take if you are remodeling your kitchen or bathroom. We have built/remodeled six homes and Kathy was great at interpreting our "visions" into the project. If we had been complete novices, she would have also been able to guide us through the entire process."
