"First time I called, someone answered. They said they’d come out that Wednesday and get me the quote either Wednesday or Thursday. Told me I didn’t need to be there. Well the following Tuesday came around, I was patient because of the holidays, nothing. I’m calling this company multiple times. Leaving multiple voicemails. Finally randomly I get a quote emailed from them (was a very good price!) Call them and someone answers. Told them i needed gutters too and that wasn’t on the quote. He said he can come Wednesday at 1 to meet me and measure for gutters and double check on roof quote, because it was just a satellite estimate, he never actually came out for the first quote. Wednesday rolled around and I called in the morning, no answer. Left a voicemail just checking if one o’clock was still planned. No one showed, no email, no call. On the bright side, we called AJs roofing and they answered and were out here and gave me a quote the very next day. The person I spoke to at Tyler’s was nice. He was a calm spoken person, not rude. I just think they have a scheduling issue. I was very patient with the holidays, but it is no longer the holidays."

"Tyler Home Improvements in Portage, Michigan is a great company! It started with Charlie and Vinnie coming out and giving us a quote for a complete redo of our kitchen and dining area. We are talking from the walls out and from the sub-flooring up. Their team with Pat as the lead and Cody and Jerry as the removers, the installers, the painters, and the flooring; were a fantastic combination! The subcontractor, Wolf Electric was also an excellent choice. Ronda at Builder Square guided us through the cabinet selection and found us deals for the counter and sink. She knew her products and followed up with every detail. Tyler Home Improvements knew communication was key for us and kept us in the loop all the way. We couldn’t be more pleased with the company and final product. Five stars all the way!"

"We chose them to replace our aging roof because Charlie said he wanted to earn our future business. Well, after this experience, he will never get anymore of our business. His crew would show up sporadically and, based on the yelling, some had very little experience. When they finally finished the job, we experienced several areas of water entering our house. They would come back out and "fix" their work again and again until we get fed up and called a well known local company to fix all the issues. We were told there were several things done incorrectly including reusing old or pieced together flashings, exposed nail heads, vent boots on backwards, etc, etc. We ended up paying this other company an additional $3000 to make our roof watertight again. I know there are good reviews of Tyler on here, but that was not our experience and the other negative reviews sound a lot like our experience. Be warned!"
