"Rude cashier. My experience was rude and the customer 2 spots ahead of me had a rude interaction and turned around and said something to me about it (so it wasn’t just me). I won’t be coming back to this location again. They constantly turnover cashiers and their standards for customer service are very minimal"

"Store has a lot of stock. Pretty large store. However, this is one of THEE most ghetto places I’ve stepped into. Lady cashier is very rude. She walked away from the front end and as she was doing so, a lady with her cart got in line. The cashier nastily said to her “you would be ready when I walk away.” As im checking out, I loaded the counter and didnt have much space. As I’m digging in my purse for my card she goes “can you move it closer” I’m like huh she says it again and I notice one item. This lady couldve just fully extended her arm. Do better."

"The outside is always filled with trash. Not a good look when pulling in to shop. Their staff should do a better job with cleaning inside and out. The shelves are barely stocked with items that I come in for, just empty most of the time."

"I came to the Eastpointe and 9 mile store on 12/11/21 noonish to look for household supplies which they did not have, and saw into a sell for sweater socks and thermal wear. I planned to purchase these items due to holiday gift-giving. As you can see below from the pictures the signs says buy one winterwear or accessories item and get one free as long as you have the blue or grey dot. I went to cash register and rang up however the discount did not hit. I politely informed the manager that the signs states buy one winterwear or accessories item get one free. She checks and then, The RUDE STORE MANAGER ELIZABETH STATED OH THAT DEAL IS ONLY FOR HATS AND GLOVES. However the sign only states winterwear and accessories it does not specify gloves or hats ONLY. It says look for the gray or blue dot. She then proceeds to be very rude and tell me if I have any issues call corporate which I did expecting a call back. This store always has very rude workers and the store is always a mess and understocked which is ashamed because this is new store open less than 2 years ago. I will not be patronizing this store ever again and I caution you to avoid this store as well because of the rude employees and the messiness of the store."

"Worst store! I was attacked by the manager and the cashier when I entered to leave my back pack right on the floor by the door where anyone could have grabbed it and ran. I have expensive items in there. Both were right in my face and very aggressive. Embarrassed me in front of other guests. Thing is the women there are still aloud to carry their purses. My backpack is just the same. Terrible. I’ve never been treated like that! I’m on my way to Walmart I’ll spend my money there. Never ever will I go to another Dollar General."
