"Bought part from ebay, said it was shipping from Detroit. 3 days later and still have to wait 3 more days due to them shipping it from New Mexico. Offered me 10% off next order. Would not recommend."

"Update: I bought and replaced the new sway bar links from 1A Auto because the warranty parts that Detroit Axle replaced their original ones didn't last a month. Now? WOW! My truck rides like a dream. Will be purchasing all my parts there from now on. The prices were better too! Mike, if you are still the owner, do you have some kind of $$$ issues or addiction problem? I ask because the quality of your products and the complete failure of your warranty for these faulty products are key signs of a failing company and poor leadership. You owe me money for the very bad sway bar links you took my $$$ for. It isn't like we are complaining about the color of our dresses or hair bows; bad front end parts end lives and shatter families, you jerk."

"Horribble lack people skills Discriminatory want me to apologize for asking for a written warranty october 30th 4:21pm the plan was to have vehicle fixed by 6pm. I called first spoke to a man inquired about the parts. my parts were confirmed to be there. Upon my arrival a woman sat behind window I made my purchase got receipt. She goes to the back, come back and tells me the parts all not there or I can go to 8 mile to pick up or wait til tomorrow afternoon the next day to see if they are in and come pick upWhy take my money then tell me parts not in? She then tells me how she supposed to know The parts wasn't there before she took my money I explained you are the manager you do inventory its Uploaded to your computer system She smacked her lips rudely rolled eyes, was snapping her head then offered to refund but I used credit card, it takes a few days to get refund and it Defeats my purpose. I ask about the warrant for my purchase. She states i have a year warranty but its not anywhere on receipt. She told me to read bottom that states one year the warranty for hub bearings not what i purchase this. I bought struts and shocks. Receipt does not states that I have a 1 year warranty on these items I had to keep explaining that's not what it states. I asked her to write o itvon receipr she refused Getting even more snappy, raised her voice head moving from a side to side. i ask her if she could write it on receipt initial & date that I had a warranty so I wouldn't have any future problems. However, she tells me that all the receipts that they print to says the same warranty language for hub bearings. She said No I told her That the warranty is not for the items that I purchased. So she got even more nasty I asked if a manager was there. She told me she was the manager I asked if her supervisor was there, she told me she was ir only person at that location. I ask for supervisor name " Michael" i ask ifvthis was a franchise or corporation she clearly did not know based on her arrogant response. I go outside call # on receipt for ferndale office (313). this guy name leo told me he was from the call center. I explained my concern. He told me nothing he could do. I ask for corporate # he told me to look it up because he did not have nor know the number i looked it up i saw the name mike listed next to number ( 248) . i called the 248 # and leo answer I ask if this was a game i called a totally different number. After confirming it was Leo I refused to repeat myself. I told him again what the situation was about. He told me it does not make sense for the receipt to have something different listed as the warranty coverage when that is not the item that I purchased. I thought I was getting somewhere with him but I didn't.He stated the receipt should have the item i purchased listed and state that I had a 1 year warranty. He suggested strongly that I go back into the store and tell that manager to at least write it on there or to print out another receipt with the proper language. I told him I was afraid but he insisted. I told him I suggested the same. She refused so I get in there. Why hes on the phone? And while I'm talking to her, he hangs up. But then I hear this talking coming from the speaker. The manager goes to the speaker and asks them. Who I had just spoken to She asks who was Leo, and then one of the gentlemen responded. She asked what did he say to me? He explained the same to her that he explained to me. She got loud with him telling him. It's not her fault how the receipts print out and read. I inquired about the delivery time of my part to the store. And this gentleman with a lot more sense than the manager and Leo tells me what happened. Next morning she calls states parts there she can't help me. Put the part in the car. I suggested she and I do it together. I have one good arm even though I was on a cane. I got there While putting the item in my trunk, she tells me I should be apologizing now i need her i disagreed told her to learn how to do her job. She called me a name"

"Confirmed order online. Confirmed twice that I could pick up my order. Twice, both from a supervisor. Upon my arrival I was told that online orders are completely different worlds and I'll have to wait until my order is shipped. After talking to a supervisor in person I was left to just cancel my order. Tried to stay local but I'll never come back. Change the name back to Dearborn Axel, don't disrespect Detroit like that."
