"Today me and a few friends went to this Dollar store location wanting to go in just to buy some candy after school. In this dollar store location, after school they make a 3 person limit and if 3 kids are inside you cannot go in but today there were these 3 girls who walked in right before us and we got told to wait until these girls leave. We do as told and stand by the door opening it for anyone going inside and telling them to have a good day. This continues for about 15 minutes because these girls were shopping for a while and while holding the door many people appreciated it and we even held the door for an older veteran who was with his (i assume) young grandchild and thanked him for his service. everyone was appreciative and said we were great kids but apparently the 2 workers thought something else. There is an older black lady and a younger black lady who after 15 minutes of waiting and opening the doors were telling people we were being disrespectful. I’m assuming they thought this because a group of high schoolers we have never met were trying to stand up for us because they were telling every customer we opened the door for that we were being disrespectful for i guess opening the door and telling people to have a nice day. But as the girls are about to leave the older black lady whispers into the younger girls ears probably talking bad about us or how disrespectful we supposedly were. But when they finally left we asked politely again to go inside since they left and the older black lady yelled at us and said No and slammed the doors on us. Honestly it was a nice experience because the people we opened the doors for appreciated it a lot and it felt good to do something nice for people. GET NEW WORKERS"

"When I tried to enter the store there were 4 young boys (in middle school) that were holding the door open for people and trying to get in, but there were 3 Girls (in middle school) also in the store, so the women in the store would not let the group of boys come in because there were 3 girls in the store. The boys were being respectful to everyone entering the store and leaving. But the Manger of the store would not let them in because they thought that a group of boys being respectful to everyone was a bad idea for the store, even the store employers of the store were telling the people walking in that they were being disrespectful even though I was looking at the whole thing. I think that there is being some favoritetism and sexism through out the store and the manager. If your seeing this the kids were not doing anything bad and they were not being let into the store."

"I asked the cashier (Brenda) to put my Christmas ornaments with glitter in a separate bag than my food items. The cashier stated, "no, that all my items can fit in 1 bag." I proceeded to ask multiple times for 2 bags or I don't want to purchase the Christmas ornaments. I explained that I don't want them to break or the glitter near my soda/snacks. After a debate, she finally placed the Christmas ornaments in a separate bag. I doubt 2 bags for 12 items that include a 16 oz coke and food is asking too much! Customer service needs to be addressed at this establishment!"

"Ok. This is how it works. Corporate wants us Asst Mgrs/Mgrs to STOCK, CLEAN, Do PAYROLL, do DAMAGES, AUDITS, PAPERWORK, to RUN to the cashiers EVERYTIME there is a bill check, to print a reciept, to exchange something, to give them smaller bills, to cash them out, to cash them in, to CATCH UP the line the ONE cashier we have at a time, can't handle. We are NOT cashiers, so when we open and half the line comes over to our register..we panic..because we HAVE so much more we need to accomplish or Corporate penalizes us by cutting our hours. Thats why we have one line, because if the Mgr/Asst Mgr needs to step away, their line wont have to go to the end of the other line. It's like we can't win. Either customers are complaining about long lines or bare shelves, or the bathrooms aren't pristine. Also, this is the Dollar Tree. Not Macy's. So customers acting as if it is, need to stop! Also, don't come in if you don't have the time! EXPECT LONG LINES! If you don't want something, bring it up to the cashiers. We will not make you feel bad about it! Also, don't come in and buy one thing to break your $50 and $100.00 bills you just got from the ATM because you can't figure out how to ask it for smaller bills. We are not a bank!"
