"I started to replace the CV axles on my 2012 equinox. I already have all the parts, got the castle nut off the ball joint and couldn't get the ball joint free. Called Meyers and was quoted $755, seriously that seems like extortion? This is not a job that should cost that much, especially when I have all the parts already. Called Brown's and the person who answered was polite and told them my story, where I'm at, and what I got stuck with. Got quoted $150 which is VERY REASONABLE and fair. I didn't have them free the ball joint as I got it lose. But I wanted to share my experience and let the world know, browns won't rip you off or over charge. Thank you"
