"Amazing staff!! They are always trying to provide you the best experience possible and your happiness is one of their top priorities. I had a tooth pulling here and was very nervous but they were very kind and had a great sense of humor that made all of my worries just go away. The staff are very good with kids as well!!! 10/10 would recommend this place to a friend or family member."

"I have been going to this dental office for couple years now and never had any problems. However, after my kids and I appointment today, the front desk clerk advised me that I owed $45 for my visit. I then asked her if this was because of today's visit and she said NO. Be advised every dental visit I ever had I asked Applewood Dental if I owe anything and their answer would always be NO. Today the clerk begins to tell me that I owed $4 for my daughter visit back in March 2016, and $4 today for my daughter x-rays and the remainding balance was for xray my insurance didn't cover today. My issue with Applewood Dental office is that they failed to inform me of the $4 I owed for last year. And I know folks might say or think its ONLY $4 but I like to pay my bills on time and not have them accumulate to a large amount that would be hard for me to pay. I would have appreciated if Applewood Dental didn't lie to me when I asked them after every visit, if I owed them anything and they told me NO when the correct answer should have been YES."

"My husband and I were recommended to come here by a friend. When we walked in my husband offered them our dental insurance (Meritain) and asked them to call for an initial estimate since our cleanings were supposed to be covered at 100% in network. They then proceeded to call the insurance and told us we were 100% covered. This was true to an extent as we found out later but we do not wrong them for that because it was a true statement. Initially we came in for just a cleaning, but they found two cavities on my husband's teeth so they recommended he get them done then. He said he would but once again asked for an estimate. They proceeded to hand him a paper with the amount of right around $150 for two cleanings and two cavities and asked him to sign. Of course, on the paper it says this just an estimate and not a final bill. Totally understood since we've dealt with dentists before. Good experience until we received the EOB from Meritain. It showed that we in fact owed over $250 more since Applewood Dental was out of network and most insurance companies have what they call a "maximum allowable limit." My husband called Meritain and inquired why the dentist would say we were covered at 100% if we really were not since we were out of network and that's when they proceeded to tell us they were technically correct saying we were covered at 100% but only 100% of the limit they provided out of network. So they are off the hook with that statement. What the insurance could not understand was why when they knew we were out of network they would not tell us when we inquired about our insurance and more importantly write an intentionally misleading estimate that gave the impression we were in network. Armed with this new information my husband took the bill and drove to the office in person to see if they could explain themselves. He explained the situation and simply asked if when they checked our insurance they knew if we were out of network. After avoiding the question he finally got them to admit they did know that we were out of network but quickly brought up that we were covered at "100%" to which my husband agreed and said he had no problem with that statement. It was when they wrote an actual number of around $150 for the estimate that he had an issue with. They deal with insurance companies all the time and knew full well that number only applied to in network patients. Yet they still proceeded to write that number down. That is called dishonesty. Had they been up front with us and told us the patient responsibility was more like $400 out of pocket costs, then we would have no issues. It's the fact that they knowingly fed us wrong information. An estimate at that amount is within a few bucks maybe even tens of dollars, but it is NOT several hundred dollars off. After explaining all of this, they basically told him too bad and to have a nice day. So if you are looking for a dentist with HONESTY AND INTEGRITY THIS IS NOT THE DENTIST FOR YOU! Hopefully $250 was worth losing two customers."

"Great, small office. Never a wait to get an appointment and always friendly staff. I've never felt pressured into any treatment and have had great experiences with anything that I have needed completed. Would certainly recommend giving them a try!"
