"On January 1st a crown came off my bottom chewing tooth. It felt like a pothole where the crown was.  My regular dentist closed his office and his new office is in downtown Grand Rapids, MI.  Comfort Family Dentistry of Kentwood is close by, so I went without an appointment and wanted to see if they take new patients and,  if so, could they take care of my crown problem.  To my surprise, they scheduled me in less than an hour, and I met for the first time Dr. Palit who competently took care of my problem and explained everything I needed to know in a calm and understandable way.  She has a great personality,  and I think anyone would love having her do their dental work, and it was easy to experience her competency in the short time I was there.  The staff were all very courteous and helpful. My regular dentist l, who I’ve been with for years and truly enjoyed and trusted as my dentist,  moved downtown to Grand Rapids, MI, and at 82-years of age, I hated going downtown and dealing with the stress of traffic and parking when Comfort Family Dentistry is less than a mile from my residence.  I now have a new dentist, and I regret I’ll need to let my long-standing dentist  that I no longer wish to be his patient since he moved downtown.  However, I’m very happy to have Dr. Palit as my dentist since Comfort Family Dentistry is so close by.  My day was better than I expected and I can once again chew my food on my bottom chewing tooth.  I would recommend Comfort  Family Dentistry of Kentwood to anyone."
