"I was referred to Gazelles from my specialist to get sized and fitted. After waiting quite a long time and while multiple customers being helped that arrived after I arrived. I explained in detail this was my first fitting and wasn’t quite sure to expected. Explained I needed to be fitted and what type of support I needed. He brought how 2 shoes for me to try that didn’t work brought 1 last pair that also didn’t work and he said well I don’t have any other recommendations. Although my specialist also advised to get inserts he said their isn’t any inserts that would help my issue, but make it worse. Extremely frustrating since this is where so many PTs and doctors refer patients."

"I needed new shoes for the gym. I know nothing about shoes and was hoping for some advice, and I know the market is constantly changing. I realize no one makes a "cross-train" shoe anymore, I just need something I can walk and lift in without giving me blisters. When the young person asked what I was looking for I said, "something as close to a cross-train/gym shoe as you have". The response was, "We don't really have much. There are a few down at the bottom over there." Full stop. No questions about what I needed them for, no follow-up at all. I also needed some arch supports for a pair of hiking/work boots. When I asked, the person pointed across the store and said they were "over there". We walked over, they said, "What kind do you need", I said I was looking for the SuperFeet Hiking support (because Gazelle is mentioned on the SuperFeet vendor map). Their only response was "We don't have the hiking one." It's fine that they don't carry it, I know they aren't a hiking store, but no suggestion for a similar product or alternatives, and no follow-up questions. I know Gazelle is hugely popular with runners. We bought my son's shoes there when he was in high school and we were always treated well. My advice is, if you aren't built like a runner, save yourself the embarrassment and go elsewhere. I was in and out of the store in 3 minutes and still felt like I needed to apologize for wasting their time."

"Prior to my order I hadn't heard of Gazelle - they've gained a customer for life in just one order. Not only was the price right and the turn around time on shipping incredibly fast but the customer service was unreal. Emails along the way letting me know my order was coming and upon receiving my order I was greeted with a nice little note from someone by the name of Forrest thanking me for my purchase and telling me to enjoy my new bottles. Never before have I ever received a personal note from any company large or small - it's not expected ever and don't expect it to happen every time but that small gesture meant a heck of a lot.
