999 Lena Nails

"UPDATE: it’s been 4 days and my polish has already peeled off of two of my toe nails. Pretty sure I did not receive shellac and was cheated out of money again. Be very vigilant at this location. The men do a great job on their pedicures but for some reason everytime I say I want regular polish, I’m being told that they did shellac instead when it’s time to pay. And then act like they don’t remember what you said initially. I finally decided to push back and tell them that “no, I asked for regular polish” the guy said okay but the female owner decided to debate with me and then charged me $5 for the polish removal (because allegedly they charge for removal when you don’t get shellac again) when I refused to pay for a service I didn’t ask for. Again, I really enjoy the quality of service but I don’t appreciate being ripped off and gaslighted. I would recommend getting your total VERY clear with the tech and in writing prior to being serviced if you choose to patronize."

"She did my eyebrows and literally took the skin off with her. I added progression pics so you can see. I got in the car and noticed my skin was literally stinging, I put a cold napkin on it and it just kept getting worse. I realized my skin was missing(2nd pic). I went back up there and she had closed 45 minutes early. The other pics are 3rd & 4th day. Today is the 5th day (last photo). I do not have sensitive skin. I’ve always gotten my eyebrows waxed and/or threaded. Never had this problem. Lena has also waxed my eyebrows before and this didn’t happen. She was heavy handed and very rough. I’m disappointed and now I have this mark on my skin! I went up there and she said “I made a mistake and mistakes happen.” She gave me $10 back which I had to basically fight for almost. She was not remorseful at all and showed no empathy."

"Her eyebrows are on point.But I asked Lena several times not to cut my natural nails down and just add a tip to the ones that were short she continued to argue and tell me what I should do. I should have just walked out then. I wanted them soaked off. Instead of her doing it correctly, she used that tool to pull my dip powder off..and cut all my nails down. I did not have time to go to another shop as I was running behind time. Yes I saw it as she was doing it.. she put the dip powder on and shaped them. They’re wide and ugly.. I will never return to this shop for my nails."
