"I tried this place recently. Unfortunately, the lady that cut my hair just wasn't very friendly and didn't listen to what I wanted done with my hair. She just kept complaining about her back surgery. The haircut did not look good. In addition, the website doesn't allow you to choose your barber and you can only set up a specific appointment time with a specific barber at an extra charge. But I think you need to call to do all of that. Very confusing system."
"I always get a decent haircut here. No fringes tho. (No neck shave, eyebrow trim, nose hair trim) I don't care for their sign in system. It's confusing and It dosent tell you where you're at in line. I'm not the biggest website user. OG. Its why I gave 4 out of 5."
"I generally don't write reviews, unless I feel that a business goes above and beyond for their customers. Needless to say, JJ's Barbershop does just that, and I couldn't express the joy after each visit. I am a former and current client who went here for 7-8 years and recently, I decided to come back to get a haircut. I was a bit nervous since changing hair stylists can be a stressful process but I ended up scheduling an appointment with Aaron and he did a phenomenal job. He listened to what I had to say as far as the hairstyle I was going for, offered me some recommendations to better the haircut(texture, shorter sides, etc), and he made me feel like I was in good hands. Also, Trevor is great and the owner Mike is a genuine, easy going person who loves what he does. I will definitely be back here for my next appointment, thank you JJs!"
"Trevor is the best in town! Competitive price for an excellent quality. I’ve been to several barber shops in the Troy area and JJ’s is by far the best. Expect a wait time on Saturday’s, but if you check in online you won’t have to sit in the lobby very long! Thanks again to the entire crew!"
