"Hi! Non curly girl here. As someone who is very picky about who cuts my hair, I did a ton of research before deciding to go to Sparrow Salon. I made my appointment with Rachel because of her listed continuing education helped ease my nerves about going somewhere new. Let me tell you she did not disappoint! This is the first time in years where I've left my appointment loving my new hair cut! She gave me a beautiful cut but saw I was in "like" more than "love" and she did not hesitate to pick up her shears and make a few more cuts that really made me love it. Her prices are a tad more than I've paid in the past but definitely reasonable considering all of her experience and education. 10/10 would recommend!"

I have been struggling with a really bad short cut several months ago and after letting it grow out for a while, with extremely thick textured hair, the stylist was super patient with me through the process of getting it somewhere I can live with. "Rachel has been cutting my curly hair for almost the last year, and I’ve never had better cuts at any other hairdresser. Rachel clearly cares that her clients like their hair, and I love that she’s taught me so much about how to style and care for my natural curls. My curl pattern varies all over my head and my hair grows at different rates, but Rachel’s cuts and suggestions have gotten me to a place where I don’t really have bad hair days any more! Highly recommend Rachel and Sparrow to anyone, but especially if, like me, you want a fairly low maintenance curly cut."
