"I very recently got a wash, conditioning, and hair cut, and style there. I had been a customer there years ago in my forties and early fifties. I am 71 years old now. Before, they had done amazing jobs, both with hair cuts, even difficult ones, and they did great jobs on coloring, too; except for one time. But that was over a decade ago. I loved my stylist, was very happy and content with her. Had her for years. That is why I am so, so shocked that after going back to them to re-establish ties hopefully for the future, I got a serious surprise, and it definitely wasn’t a good one. I knew that I did not have someone who had a lot of experience, but I thought that she had at least gone through appropriate beauty school, and knew what to basically do for a simple hair cut, and style. I brought many pictures to show what hair cut I was looking for. It was just a fairly simple lob cut, and I wanted a good one for a special occasion visit from my family, for celebrating my 71st birthday. It’s a big deal, a lot is going to happen during he, and my family’s visit over a few days stay here. The haircut is a completely wrong, as wrong as anyone could ever do it. It’s awful! I am so embarrassed by just how awful it is, that I am going to be feeling like I need to hide my head in a bag, or get some kind of hat to cover up the choppy, ill-cut, uneven, totally non-professional hair disaster that I have been left with. I only saw it from a bit of distance at the shop, I didn’t have my glasses on to be able to watch what she was doing, during it. My eyes aren’t good, I can’t see without my glasses. When I got home, I could not believe how bad the cut itself was, in every way. I have never had my hair hacked up this badly by anyone ever before. It’s horrible!! . I don’t know what has happened to the beauty shop that I went to more than ten years ago, but this is a definite disaster for me. It’s short enough, and chopped up enough on the sides so badly, that I am going to have to let it grow out before anything can be done to help it along. A scarf, or a hat, to cover it up is all that I can do. I can’t believe that I paid for this!!! Customer beware. Be careful that you get the stylists that are older, and definitely have had years of experience. Ask first, and then wait for them to have time to fit you in, their schedules. Be sure and do THAT! Don’t make my mistake, it will take months for it to grow out enough to try and fix it. Be careful!! Heed my honest warning, please? Appointment was on: 07/14/2023"
