"This small shop is akin to a "health-food" store. It is located in the camp site of a local Advent Christian camping and hiking area. The shop is over-priced but proceeds benefit the area and maybe the camping and kid care. Beautiful place, small selection, but the scenery is worth shopping and stopping here."

"As a vegetarian Adventist, I’ve had many difficult experiences finding food that’s nutritious, in alignment with my beliefs, and delicious. Nature’s Nest is one of the very few establishments that meets, and even exceeds, all three of those criteria. Chef Larcher is an expert culinary artist who specializes in vegan cuisine, and many of his delectable dishes are available for purchase there. Nature’s Nest also offers high-quality Camp Au Sable merchandise, health food that’s very difficult to find elsewhere, and top tier soft serve in the summer months. I was positively overwhelmed with the vast selection and high quality of the items for sale at Nature’s Nest, and I would recommend this treasure of a store to anyone interested in delving into its wonderful offerings."

"What a slam dunk of a hidden gem! Are you looking for delicious snacks?? How about delicious snacks that make your heart say, "Wow, this is good!" Not to mention it's good for you too! The soft-serve ice cream is quite literally out of this world. Why? I have not a single clue other than it must be the love of those who operate this fine establishment. I would happyily go broke if it meant that I could be provided with delicious Chef snacks and swaggy Camp Au Sable merch for the rest of my life. 10/10 I highly recommend and as a connoisseur of the finer things in life I can confidently say that the Nature's Nest has my stamp of approval :)"

"This place is such a gem. Chef Miguel is an incredible vegan, plant-based chef. This place sells ready-made meals, baked goods, and has a great selection of healthy foods including gluten-free, vegan, and international cuisine. They have the best soft-serve ice cream in the summer. They have delicious almond-milk based vegan soft-serve too. Highly recommend."
